Hi everyone. Well for this post i don't have anything in mind to write and i don't really want to give it a lot of thought, so i just will try to trow a few ideas about a movies saga that recently i saw on tv. Yesterday, accompanied by my mom and grandmom, we were watching a few titles of the movies based in the life of Yip Kai-Man, mostly knowing as Ip Man, the grandmaster of Wing Chun and teacher of Bruce Lee. I think these part of the history is generally know so i keep my way and i will tell you some question this movie leave having around in my mind, and with a little bit of luck someone can tell his thoughts too. In think the principal objective of the movies is communicate the link between the Kung Fu and the chinese ideals rooted in Confucianism. Well in that way i'am not sure if i catch that ideas of chinese ideals. In one hand, it's obviosly that Master Ip Man embodies some kind of stoicism, modesty and life balance, but in the other, i think that could be a interpretation polluted by a western view of the eastern hemisphere, possibly the matter is a little bit more complicated. And the existence of these subtleties is real, because is, in last term, through combat ideals are proven correct to face adversity like oppression, colonialism and discrimination, all kind of problems related but not the same. Trying to search for answers, i think could be because that movies was maded in Hong Kong and for chinese public the link y so natural, or the opposite, trought the western inflence in that particulary territorie, the Confucianism ideas was simplificed to put it on cinema screen, but again, this thoughts could be prejudices because my principal Chinese references tend to be made in Western. Probably the unique solution for this is read a lot and share ideas, i think. Thank for give me some of your time.
