An important topic for my future career

I think a important topic for all of film students is filmmaker preferences. And by my side, one of the filmmaker who i most admired is, without a doubt, Emir Kusturica. He is a director who was born in 1954 in Yugoslavia, within a Muslim-Bosnian family. His college studies was taken at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, debuting in 1981 with his first film Do You Remember Dolly Bell? During his life he has filmed many movies and documentary films, even winning the connoted Golden Palm two times, but personally speaking all this achievements in themselves are meaningless to me without the steady ideals who makes his films special. Many of Kusturica's movies introduce to the viewer the rich ethnical identity in Balkan Peninsula and a tough opposition of the western intervention during the Yugoslav Wars. In his films he accuses the economic| and geopolitical interest who drive that country into consecutive separations of their inner nations. As well, in the filmography is developed an fair and deep aesthetic of the popular classes and they culture. Personally, i think many of his contributions to filmmaking could be useful for countries like ours when they lose gradually their cultural identity.
